Disc golf in Houston

Houston is one of Texas's biggest disc golf markets, and the flat Gulf Coast terrain gives its courses a distinct character — open fairways, water hazards and creeks doing the work that hills do elsewhere. The city's courses run from a former municipal golf course reborn as an adventure park to long bayou-side loops and neighborhood park layouts the Houston Flying Disc Society has adopted and leagues on.
