Calvert Road Park Disc Golf Course

Calvert Road Park sits on Old Calvert Road in College Park, a roughly 21.5-acre M-NCPPC park that the Prince George's County parks department lists as open dawn to dusk every day of the week. Disc golf is one of its posted amenities, alongside tennis and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a playground, picnic shelters and tables, BBQ grills, trail access and an on-site parking lot. Montgomery Parks, writing up disc golf across the region, counts this as the single 18-hole course in Prince George's County.

The ground is flat — USGS elevation data puts the course near 36 feet above sea level, down in the Paint Branch stream valley — and squeezing 18 holes into a park this size means short holes set close together, with scattered mature trees rather than deep forest doing most of the work. No admission or play fee is posted for the park, and the picnic shelters are the only part of it that goes out for rental.
