Veterans Park Disc Golf Course

Veterans Park is one of Lexington's largest parks, nearly 240 acres southeast of downtown off Southpoint Drive. The City of Lexington's official park page lists an 18-hole disc golf course among the park's amenities, alongside six baseball and softball fields, two playgrounds, a roughly 3.5-mile mountain bike trail built to International Mountain Biking Association standards, a dog park, paved walking paths, and a War Memorial Walk listing Fayette County's fallen from World War I.

The disc golf course itself runs through a dense hardwood corridor that separates the park's open ballfields from the surrounding residential streets — current aerial imagery and OpenStreetMap's mapped fairway areas both show heavy tree cover along the line of play, more wooded than open.
