River Hill Park Disc Golf Course

River Hill Park is a small neighborhood park on Lexington's south side, and its course is the odd one out among the city's four public layouts: Lexington Parks & Recreation lists 18-hole courses at Shillito, Veterans and Jacobson parks, and a 9-hole course here. Unlike the other three, River Hill is small enough that it has no dedicated page in the city's parks directory, and no approved source publishes a par or length for the layout.

OpenStreetMap puts the park boundary at roughly 1,200 by 950 feet, and current USGS aerial imagery shows how that ground is split — mown open turf across the north half, where the playground, tennis court, hard court and ball diamond sit, and a solid block of hardwood covering the south and east. Nine holes in that footprint means short, tight lines rather than open distance, which makes River Hill the most approachable of Lexington's courses for a first round or a quick nine after work. Veterans Park is about 1.4 miles away and Shillito about 2.9, so it also works as a warm-up before a full 18.
