Shillito Park Disc Golf Course

Shillito Park is one of Lexington's regional parks, a 176-acre site off West Reynolds Road in the southwest part of the city. The City of Lexington's official park page lists an 18-hole disc golf course among the park's amenities, alongside the Shillito Aquatic Center, 8 tennis courts, 20 outdoor pickleball courts, 10 baseball and softball fields, a football field, 4 soccer fields, a 2.5-mile paved multiuse trail and a recently renovated, fully ADA-accessible wood playground. OpenStreetMap tags the course itself as free with public access, matching the city's other municipal disc golf courses.

Because the course threads through a park built primarily for other sports, expect a mix of open turf near the ballfields and courts and tighter, tree-lined stretches through the wooded sections that separate them — roughly half the ground is open, half wooded. Neither the city nor any other approved source publishes an official par or yardage for the layout, so treat this as a solid mid-length round rather than a championship-caliber track. Parking, a paved trail network, a playground and picnic shelters are all on site, and the course is free to play with no permit required.
