Disc golf in Richmond

Richmond's Parks and Recreation department maintains two public disc golf courses on opposite sides of the city — Gillies Creek Park in the East End and Bryan Park in the Northside — both free to play and open sunrise to sunset. Gillies Creek runs through a 40-acre park along its namesake creek, sharing the grounds with the city's only BMX track. Bryan Park is bigger and more wooded, set in a 262-acre park with two tee sets on most holes so it plays well for beginners and more experienced throwers alike. River City Disc Golf Club is the local group behind course upkeep and events in the city.
