Nani Falcone DGC

Nani Falcone DGC plays through the community park on San Antonio's northwest side that the city lists as Falcone Park. The 21-hole layout exists largely because local players built the case for it: in May 2019 San Antonio disc golfers were raising money toward a $7,500 goal — and offering to donate the construction labor — for what would be the city's first 21-hole course, while the city gathered input from nearby residents. The city's parks directory now lists the course at 21 holes, the only one of that size in its system.

On the ground it mixes wide-open grass fairways with tighter tree-lined stretches, playing to a par of 66 over roughly 6,500 feet — longer than the average San Antonio round without being punishing. Play is free and first come, first served. The park around it is busy and well equipped, with a skate plaza, playground, softball and multipurpose fields, picnic tables, pavilions, water fountains, portable toilets and about 1.1 miles of trail, and it's open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. The course isn't lit, so start early enough to finish all 21.
