Scored for open terrain
Deussen Park Disc Golf Course sits on flat, open ground near Lake Houston — a long way out the East Side, but worth the drive for its breezy, forgiving character. It was installed in 2022 and plays like a modern park course: wide grass fairways, cement tees at two levels and a handful of trees doing the decorating rather than the defending. The front nine is a friendly, open loop; the back tightens a bit as the road and park paths come into play as out-of-bounds.
It plays to a par of 58 over roughly 6,050 feet from the shorts, with the longs stretching it out. Everything the neighborhood needs is around you: pavilions, playgrounds, a dog park and drinking water, and it's free in a Harris County precinct park. Reviews rate the upkeep and tee areas highly — about 4.2/5 from just under 1,000 UDisc reviews — and the Lake Houston weekly mini keeps a steady crowd.
