Hole 15 — a 341-foot par-4 through the tree line that demands a low, controlled drive

Gateway Trinity is one of the courses woven through Fort Worth's Gateway Park complex on the Trinity River. The park's original layout dates to 2008-09, credited to local designers Brandon Melton and J.B. Rappold, and Trinity has been reworked since. What you get today is a flat, heavily wooded and distinctly technical 18-hole round that trades distance for shot-shaping.

The layout runs about 4,700 feet at par 57 — short on paper, but every hole threads trees and the low, controlled lines matter far more than raw power. The best disc in the bag is a stable midrange. It's one of the highest-rated Fort Worth courses on UDisc (about 4.2/5 from more than 3,200 reviews) and runs a well-attended Sunday morning mini, plus PDGA flex events. Free and public, it sits inside a park complex you can easily spend a day at — play Trinity, then wander over to the newer Gateway Briar course for a second round.
