Turner Park Disc Golf Course

Turner Park is a City of Grand Prairie park of roughly 62 acres off North Belt Line Road, between Dallas and Fort Worth. The city's park listing describes a lake, picnic pavilions and tables, a playground and a youth activity area; the disc golf course shares that ground, which is rolling by North Texas standards and mixes open fairways with wooded ravines.

The course plays 18 holes to a par of 58 over roughly 6,000 feet. It is not especially long, but the elevation changes and tight wooded sections mean speed and line control matter more than raw distance. It is free and public. Worth checking before you drive out: the city put Turner Park Phase II into construction in late 2025, with a projected completion of August 2026, adding lighted walking trails, a children's play area, restrooms, a large group pavilion and additional parking — work that also includes demolishing the eastern segment of the Park Square loop road, so the layout of roads and parking may differ from older maps.
