Victor Ashe Park Disc Golf Course

Victor Ashe Park covers 115.9 acres off Bradshaw Road in northwest Knoxville, and its 18-hole disc golf course is listed alongside the soccer fields, sand volleyball courts and horseshoe pits in the City of Knoxville's own park details. The Legacy Parks Foundation, the local parks nonprofit, calls it a tournament-quality 18-hole course. The ground is mostly open park with tree lines and a fishing pond rather than tight woods, which puts more of the round at the mercy of the wind.

The course is free — Visit Knoxville notes that none of the city's disc golf courses charge greens fees — and the park is run by the City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department. Dogwood Park, Knoxville's first off-leash dog park, sits on the same grounds, and the Victor Ashe and Northwest greenways both connect here, so the parking lot works hard on a good weekend.
