Disc golf in Knoxville

Knoxville's disc golf runs on city parkland. The City of Knoxville Parks and Recreation Department lists an 18-hole course at Victor Ashe Park, 115.9 acres off Bradshaw Road in the northwest, and another 18 at Morningside Park, a 35.85-acre park in East Knoxville minutes from downtown. The Legacy Parks Foundation, the area's parks nonprofit, calls Victor Ashe tournament-quality and Morningside tournament-designed. Both are free — Visit Knoxville notes that Knoxville's disc golf courses need no greens fees — and both sit on parks with greenway connections, so the round shares ground with walkers and cyclists.
