Morningside Park Disc Golf Course

Morningside Park is 35.85 acres in East Knoxville, a few minutes from downtown, and the City of Knoxville leads its own description of the park with the 18-hole disc golf course, gently rolling terrain, large shade trees and open play areas. The Legacy Parks Foundation lists it as a tournament-designed 18. Fitting a full 18 onto that footprint means short holes and fairways that share ground with the rest of the park — the Morningside Greenway cuts straight through it.

The park is free to play, and Visit Knoxville notes that none of the city's disc golf courses charge greens fees. A BlueCross Healthy Place opened here in December 2023 with playgrounds, a challenge course, fitness stations, a community pavilion and restrooms, though the city notes restrooms close in winter. Alex Haley Heritage Square is next door on the way in.
