Perkins Park Disc Golf Course

Perkins Park is a west-side Green Bay neighborhood park at 600 North Fisk Street, and its disc golf course is the shorter of the city's two: nine holes rather than 18. Green Bay Parks calls the layout moderate in difficulty and describes it as tucked into the woods of the park, which matches the site — the ball diamonds, tennis courts, playground and shelter occupy the open western half, and the holes run through the wooded strip on the east side. There is no fee and no permit; the season runs April through November, 6 a.m. to dusk daily.

The ground is genuinely flat. USGS elevation samples across the park stay within about ten feet of 599 feet, so nothing here is played uphill or blind — the difficulty, such as it is, comes from the tree cover rather than the terrain. That makes it a reasonable place to learn, and a quick round if you are already playing the city's larger Triangle Sports Area course across town. Brown County's 18-hole course at Pamperin Park is under three miles away, which makes a two-course afternoon easy to put together.
