Cornwall Memorial Park Disc Golf Course

Cornwall Memorial Park covers 70 acres in north-central Bellingham, running north–south between Meridian Street and Squalicum Creek. The land came to the city from Bruce Cornwall and Bertha James Cornwall Fisher in memory of their father, Pierre Barlow Cornwall; it saw heavy automobile camping in the 1920s before Works Progress Administration crews built out the recreation facilities that still define it. The city's park map lays out a nine-hole disc golf course that tees off near the north parking lot off Birchwood Avenue and works its way south past the tennis and pickleball courts toward the Indianna Street end.

The Whatcom Disc Golf Club maintains the course and describes every hole as under 300 feet, which makes it an easy first course — but the park is genuinely mixed-use, with two playgrounds, a seasonal spray park, picnic shelters, a basketball court and the Bay to Baker Trail all sharing the same ground, so the city's map asks players to let faster groups through and to keep clear of other park users. The club runs random doubles on Sunday mornings and a Friday-evening skins/glow round year-round, both a $5 buy-in from hole 7, and stages the Cornwall Classic each September on a temporary pop-up layout. Park hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
