Disc golf in Winchester

Winchester sits at the top of the Shenandoah Valley, and its disc golf is all in one place: an 18-hole course running through the middle of Jim Barnett Park, the city's main park. It's free to play, discs are available to rent, and the terrain is a genuine draw — 84 feet of relief across the course, an island green on hole 6, and holes that alternate between thick woods and open mowed ground. The city publishes par, both tee distances and written notes for every hole.
