Disc golf in Chattanooga

Chattanooga's disc golf scene runs through Outdoor Chattanooga, the outdoor-recreation division of the City of Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors Department established in 2004, alongside the nonprofit Chattanooga Flying Disc Club. The Sinks, an 18-hole course in Dupont Park off North Access Road, is the area's signature layout — tight, heavily wooded, and named for the sinkholes scattered across the property. At the base of Signal Mountain, the 9-hole Portland Park course, installed in 2011 by the club and the city's Parks and Recreation Department, offers a shorter, tree-lined round. Both are free, city-affiliated courses open daily from sunrise to sunset.
