Disc golf in Greenville

Greenville sits in South Carolina's Upstate, at the foot of the Blue Ridge escarpment, and the terrain shows up in the disc golf. The city's one full-length course, at Timmons Park just outside downtown, is a short, tight, wooded layout with elevation on 10 of its 18 holes and a shallow creek crossing six more. It's a City of Greenville park course — free, walk-up, no reservation — and TOWN Carolina calls it one of the oldest courses in the Upstate.
