Southeast Park Disc Golf Course

Southeast Park is a 64-acre City of Columbia park off Hazelwood Road, built around a six-acre pond with live oaks along its western shoreline and hickory woodlands providing shade. Columbia Parks and Recreation operates an 18-hole disc golf course on the property alongside the park's larger draw: a 14-court tennis complex and 8 pickleball courts. The park also has natural-surface trails, a paved walking path around the tennis complex, open playfields and restroom facilities, and is free and open to the public.

Columbia's tourism office describes the course as a high-level layout with several holes set in the surrounding woods, distinct from the more open, beginner-friendly courses elsewhere in the city's park system. Because the course threads through wooded terrain next to the pond and the tennis/pickleball complex, expect tighter, tree-lined fairways rather than wide-open bombing lanes. Fall and early spring are the most comfortable times to play in the Midlands' humid climate.
