Disc golf in Fort Washington

Fort Washington sits about 17 miles north of Philadelphia in eastern Montgomery County, and its disc golf is all in one place: the 493-acre Fort Washington State Park, where DCNR maintains an 18-hole wooded course starting from Lot #2 in the Militia Hill Day Use Area. The park is named for the American defenses of 1777 — Washington's troops encamped here for a month after Germantown before marching to Valley Forge — and today it also carries picnic grounds, trails along Wissahickon Creek and a fall Hawk Watch. There is no entrance fee.
