Disc golf in Andover

Andover sits at the northern edge of the Twin Cities metro in Anoka County, and its disc golf is county-run rather than city-run. Savanna Dunes, inside Bunker Hills Regional Park off Bunker Lake Boulevard, is an 18-hole course at par 59 and more than 6,200 feet — long enough that it plays as a real round compared with the short 9-hole municipal courses in Minneapolis and St. Paul. Because it's a regional park, an Anoka County vehicle entry permit is required to park: $7 per day or $30 per year, good across the county system, which also covers Riverfront 13 at Riverfront Regional Park.
