Yellow Creek Park Disc Golf Course

Yellow Creek Park is a Daviess County park just east of Owensboro, and its original 18-hole disc golf course opened in 1999 as H.B. Clark's first paid design — a detail the Bluegrass Disc Golf club records in its course list and Spectrum News 1 repeated in a 2026 story about the park. The park is no longer a one-course stop. A nine-hole H.B. Clark addition from 2008 was built out into a full second 18-hole course, 'Creekside', by Dutch Napier in 2024, so it's worth reading the tee signage before you start. Current USGS aerial imagery shows the ground the two courses share: open mown fields with mature scattered trees, ball diamonds and a lake through the middle of the park, and a wooded creek corridor down the western edge — more open than wooded, so wind is a factor on the exposed stretches. Since early 2026 a free disc lending box has stood in the park, stocked with about 100 donated discs by a local player, which makes this an easy first stop if you don't own a disc yet. No approved source publishes an official par or total length, and we could not confirm whether the county charges a fee.
