Disc golf in Bowling Green

Bowling Green is Kentucky's third-largest city, set in the karst country of the south-central part of the state where the Barren River cuts through town. Its longest-running disc golf course is the H.B. Clark course at Spero Kereiakes Park, just northeast of downtown on Fairview Avenue — 18 holes established in 1983, documented hole by hole by the Bluegrass Disc Golf club. It's an open-park layout with mature scattered trees rather than a woods course, and the park's paved and gravel path network is played as out of bounds on half the holes, which gives an otherwise moderate course real teeth.
