Anna Page Park East Course

The East Course at Anna Page Park is the oldest of the Rockford Park District's disc golf layouts — built in 1986 and 1988, the same era the district first added disc golf to its programming. The park district calls it a scenic course with 'a nice mix of open fairways and woods,' laid out on concrete tee pads with both a red (easy) and a blue (advanced) pin position on every hole. That two-pin setup is the practical thing to know before you go: the same 18 holes can be a relaxed round or a genuinely long one depending on which pins are in play.

East is one of three 18-hole courses inside Anna Page Park, which totals 54 holes. The West Course was added in 2004 and brings more elevation change, and the South Course, built in 2013, is the tightest and most technical of the set. All of it is free — the Rockford Park District charges nothing for disc golf at any of its locations, which also include the beginner-oriented Ingersoll Park course a few miles east.
