Disc golf in San Diego

San Diego's disc golf history runs as deep as anywhere in the sport — the city bought its first course from Ed Headrick's Disc Golf Association in 1977, and that layout is still being played and still being reworked at Morley Field in Balboa Park. Play here is mostly urban park golf on rolling canyon ground: mature eucalyptus and pepper trees framing short, technical lines, with coastal air keeping conditions steady most of the year. Below is the course we cover in San Diego, with terrain, elevation and live wind-adjusted playability.
