Fountain Hills Disc Golf Course

The Fountain Hills Disc Golf Course rings the lake at Fountain Park, the 64-acre town park built around a 29-acre lake and the fountain that gives Fountain Hills its name. The Town's park page calls it an 18-hole championship course; the Parks and Recreation course map linked from that same page, dated October 2022, numbers 20 holes and lists the course at 5,485 ft from the short tees and 6,605 ft from the long tees. Either way it plays on open turf with rec and pro tees and alternate pin positions marked on many holes.

The lake is the hazard — the map shows fairways running along the shoreline for most of the round — and with almost no tree cover, wind does the rest of the work. Parking is off El Lago Boulevard at the main lot or off Panorama Drive at the east lot, with restrooms at three points around the loop and a practice area near hole 1. The town publishes no par for the course. The fountain itself runs for 15 minutes on the hour between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m., which brings people onto the turf you're throwing across.
