Paseo Vista Recreation Area Disc Golf Course

Paseo Vista Recreation Area is a capped former landfill in south Chandler that the city rebuilt as an elevated park, and the disc golf course plays across the top of it. The City of Chandler's park page lists a 16-basket course offering 18 holes of play, sharing the hill with a 25-lane archery range, a dog park, two playgrounds and restrooms; Visit Chandler notes the park's 360-degree views of the East Valley, with most amenities hidden from the street below.

There is essentially no tree cover, so the difficulty comes from elevation change and wind rather than tight fairways — a reasonable place to learn. The park is open 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and closes for maintenance on Thursdays until 2:30 p.m. Two walking routes circle the site, a 0.73-mile paved path on the Paseo Trail and a 0.84-mile soft-surface outer loop. Neither the city nor Visit Chandler publishes a par or total length for the course.
