Disc golf in Cottonwood

Cottonwood sits in the Verde Valley at about 3,300 feet, between Sedona and Prescott, and its disc golf is at Riverfront Park — the city's largest park, on the south bank of the Verde River across from Dead Horse Ranch State Park. The City of Cottonwood maintains an 18-hole course there that runs through cottonwood groves and sandy riparian ground, with dual tee pads on every hole so it can be played short and casual or long and technical.
