Disc golf in Madison

Madison Parks runs several disc golf courses across the city, all requiring a citywide permit for players 16 and up ($7/day or $50/year). Below are the two we've fully profiled: the 18-hole Elver Park course on the west side, rebuilt around a 2023-2025 redesign of holes 2-4 by designer Patrick Blake, and the 18-hole Hiestand Park course on the east side, running seasonally through the wooded Hiestand Woods on the former 'Radar Hill' Air Force site. Dane County Parks also operates additional courses in the metro at Token Creek and Lake Farm county parks.
