Disc golf in Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City's main disc golf course, Roots, sits on the Jordan River Parkway in the Rose Park neighborhood — a flat, 18-hole layout on the site of a former municipal ball-golf course that the city closed in 2014. The Salt Lake City Public Lands Department lists disc golf as the site's amenity, and the course is maintained day-to-day by SLC Parks with volunteer support from the local Tunnel Runners club.
