Scored for mixed terrain
Turner Park is a fun, technical course in Grand Prairie, in the heart of the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Designed by Jim Dart and opened in 2009, it makes the most of a compact, rolling city park — elevation-heavy for the region, with steep downhill lines and tight wooded ravines that reward precise speed and line control over distance.
It plays 18 holes to a par of 58 over roughly 6,000 feet, and while it's not the longest course around, the terrain keeps it interesting and challenging. It's the home course of the DFW Disc Golf Center club and hosts regular PDGA-sanctioned events, including the Turner Park Open. It carries a ~4.2-star UDisc rating across around 4,200 rounds. Free and public — a solid, characterful stop for intermediate and advanced players working through the DFW scene.
