Disc golf in Russellton

Russellton is a small community in West Deer Township, Allegheny County, about 15 miles northeast of downtown Pittsburgh, and it is the gateway to Deer Lakes Park. The 1,180-acre county park spans Frazer and West Deer townships and holds an 18-hole, par-66 disc golf layout designed by J. Gary Dropcho, Tom Moeller and Dan Sauers, opened in 2006 and promoted by the Pittsburgh Flying Disc Society. Both nines loop from the Blue Gill parking lot, and it is free to play.
