About this course

Designer
Greater Cincinnati Flying Disc Association
Opened
1993

Set in Cincinnati's sprawling Mt. Airy Forest, this is one of the Midwest's most respected championship courses. Established in 1993 by the Greater Cincinnati Flying Disc Association, it grew from an original nine holes into a 20-basket course routed through steep, heavily wooded terrain with the kind of elevation change that makes big-city park golf feel like a mountain round.

It's a demanding, technical track that rewards controlled, accurate throwing, and multiple pin positions and long back tees let it stretch well past 7,000 feet — so its playing length varies with the setup. Uniquely for a public course, it has an on-site pro shop, The Nati Disc Golf, based in the park's historic Pine Ridge Lodge. It carries a ~4.5-star UDisc rating from around 5,000 rounds and hosts the long-running Flying Pig Open. Free and public, it's a genuine test best suited to intermediate and advanced players.
