Disc golf in Asheville

Asheville sits at about 2,100 feet in the Blue Ridge, and its disc golf reflects that: wooded mountain hillsides with real elevation change rather than flat park layouts. The Western North Carolina Disc Golf Association, a 501(c)(3) since 2008, built and still helps maintain courses across the area. Hurricane Helene did heavy damage to city parks here, and some are still only partially reopened — check current status before you drive out.
