Karst Farm Park Disc Golf Course

Karst Farm Park is a 120-acre Monroe County park on Bloomington's southwest side, created in 1969 after the county closed its poor farm and converted the land to park use. Its 18-hole disc golf course is one of only three 18-hole courses in the county and is generally considered the oldest disc golf course in the Bloomington area; the Bloomington Disc Golf Club redesigned the back nine in 2016 and, in 2020, replaced all 18 baskets with Dynamic Discs Veteran models through a club fundraiser. It's open to the public during normal park hours.

The course plays over relatively open ground with room to air out drives — a contrast to Crestmont Park's tighter, more wooded holes across town — with mostly concrete tee pads. Par and exact length aren't published. The rest of the park includes a splash pad, several playgrounds, a dog park, walking trails through an arboretum, ponds, and picnic shelters near restrooms, with parking for more than 750 vehicles.
