Scored for mixed terrain
Peak One Disc Golf Course runs across the Frisco Peninsula, the finger of land that pushes into Dillon Reservoir below the Tenmile Range, at roughly 9,000 feet. The Town of Frisco opened the original 18 holes on September 9, 1997 and added nine more on September 25, 2017, when three of the old holes (4, 5 and 6) were relocated to make room for the Lake Access Trail; the town's current map numbers all 27 as one course. The terrain is a genuine mix — tight lanes through lodgepole stands, wide-open meadow and ski-hill slope, with holes running from under 200 feet to about 650 feet.
Play is free. The town does rent the course exclusively for private games and tournaments at $350 a day, which can close it to walk-ons, so it's worth checking before driving up. The season is short: roughly May through early October, weather dependent, with daily hours of 6am to 10pm. The Frisco Day Lodge at the Adventure Park has restrooms, free scorecards and maps, and sells discs; the Nordic Center has restrooms too. The altitude is the real variable here — discs carry noticeably farther and fade less than most visitors expect.
